How to Ace the NRA CET Exam?
The CET Exam will include all the four subjects asked in competitive exams like General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, English, and Logical Reasoning. So, you will have to master these individual subjects for scoring good marks in NRA CET.
- NRA CET- English: Railway aspirants might find it a bit hard to cope up with the inclusion of English in the CET Exam. However, it is the right time to prepare for English as you will be competing with Banking and SSC students in CRA NET who have been studying English right from their preparation days. The level of English is expected to be easy to moderate, considering the level of SSC English as a base. A general roadmap to your preparation should include mastering vocabulary, comprehension, and basic Grammar Rules. The level of English would be more or less the same in both the CRA NET Graduation and 12th level exam. Do a bit of research on NRA CET for Graduates book of English, choose a general English competitive book, and start preparing.
- NRA CET- Quantitative Aptitude: Keeping in mind a common syllabus for NRA CET, the best approach should be focusing mainly on the arithmetic section. Likewise, in SSC, Railway, and Banking Examination, most questions are asked from Arithmetic in the preliminary examination. Considering the same, a candidate should work on preparing the arithmetic chapters from the basics. Also, don’t forget to work on your speed and accuracy, as it will play an important role in scoring well in this section. For advance-maths, basic formulas and concepts would be enough. Instead of NRA CET for 12th pass book and Graduate level books, try to first solve CBSE class 10th book for understanding the concepts better. Don’t dig deep into advance, the level of advanced maths is expected to be easy in the NRA CET prelims examination.
- NRA CET Exam- General Awareness: If you are a Railway or SSC Aspirant, you might not find it much hard to prepare for this section. As the syllabus of General Awareness will remain the same. However, if you are a banking aspirant, you would have to study static GK apart from Current Affairs. Since it takes time to study sections like History, Geography, and Politics, it is advisable to prepare for these sections in advance.
- NRA CET- Logical Reasoning: A generalized study pattern needs to be followed for preparing the Reasoning section. Railway and SSC aspirants need to pay special attention to the Puzzles and Seating Arrangement topics asked in Banking. And, for Banking aspirants, they need to prepare Non-Verbal Reasoning questions in Bank and Railways. However, you won’t need to study a higher level of any topic, instead, a basic understanding of the topic will be enough. Since the level of Reasoning is expected to be easy to moderate.
